Sometimes the thought of contouring can be quite daunting, with the fear of ending up with that Lindsay Lohan over bronzed, dirty look (especially for pale skinned ladies such as myself!) but just adding a simple highlight without all the bronzer can still be effective in bringing out the areas you want to highlight, such as the top of the cheek bones, along the bridge of the nose and that gorgeous cupids bow of the lips! By using a soft highlighter (cream or powder) to these areas with a good quality, clean, soft brush will give your skin glow and your face an instant lift by highlighting areas, such as top of the cheek bones, bridge of the nose, just above the top lip and ever so softly to the chin and between the brows. Care needs to be taken when doing this to avoid looking too shiny with an illuminating highlight. Less is more with this one ladies! When using a highlighting concealer pen as shown in these photos can really lift the face for a fresh look and brighten that under eye area, without the shine. An illuminating highlighter can still be added just to the tops of the cheek bones, bridge of nose and cuspids bow after this.
It’s highlighting made easy!
Stay beautiful xx
